The Profit Adventure program consists of three modules.

1. Board Game Simulation

We begin the day with a simulation that teaches critical financial literacy skills in a fun, highly engaging and non-threatening manner. In this simulation, participants become owners of a company and are given three years to achieve their shareholders' financial expectations. They learn:

2. The 1% Difference

A key lesson employees take away from this exercise is the profound multiplier effect daily decisions have on company profitability. This is achieved by examining how seemingly insignificant decisions, such as reducing price by just 1%, affects your company's bottom line. As we trace the impact of these decisions through the income statement and calculate their effect on profitability, the results are amazing to most employees.

3. Your Customized Applications Exercise

The next step is to transfer the skills and concepts learned to your business. Prior to the workshop we work with you to learn more about your organization, your financials, your profit drivers and leaks, your goals and objectives and what you want participants to really understand about your business. With this information in hand we completely customize this half-day module. Often we apply the 1% difference to your financials and work through a process that identifies and prioritizes your employees’ ideas and actions that positively impact profitability based on everything they have learned in the workshop. Our goal is to engage your employees in a way that encourages their involvement in your profitability goals and productivity initiatives.
